Hello, my name is Ryan Medina. I’m a senior and I’ve been involved in Model UN for four years. This is my third year as an officer, and I’m currently the Deputy Secretary General. Model UN has been very impactful in my life, both academically and with my communication and leadership skills. Outside of Model UN I have leadership roles such as being the Senior Class President and I'm also in Cross Country, and Track and Field. Model UN has helped me become more confident in social speaking. In Model UN, I enjoy futuristic committees because they force you to think outside the box to create resolutions.

Hii everyone, my name's Jake Leitgeb and I'm super excited to be your Director of Communications for the 2024-2025 School Year. I'm a Junior from Sachem North and this is my third year of Model UN. I have attended several conferences, with my favorite definitely being Katie Britt in the Senate Committee at ConnetMUNQ 2024 (Bye bye constitution 👋). Outside of Model UN, you can catch me keeping myself busy with all sorts of other activites: I volunteer with the Interact Club and several honors societies, Plan/Volunteer for events with the Farmingdale Youth Civic, play the Bass Clarinet, take a billion APs, and I'm a Faciliator of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program. A few fun facts about me are that I speak French for some reason (just felt like it one day), and I actually just made this website. Of everything, Model UN is definitely one my favorite program to be involved in, and I really hope to be able to communicate that to all of you this year!
